Fit Busy Bodies - Mother & Child Fitness Class

Are you struggling to fit exercise into your busy routine while raising kids? This class is the answer! Bring your child with you for a mother-child workout. Both of you will work out, while spending quality time together, and being a role model for healthy lifestyles.

Who is this for?

  • Mothers who are struggling fit exercise into their day-to-day routines
  • Mothers who want to instill a love of healthy lifestyles in their children
  • Mothers who want to get fit, whilst spending quality time with their children
  • Children who are old enough to participate in “structured” activity – this depends on the child but generally 4+
  • Any fitness levels – all exercises/activities are adaptable to different levels and needs

Even though these classes are suitable for all fitness levels, it is not recommended for:

  • Mothers who are pregnant
  • Mothers who gave birth less than 6 months ago
  • Mothers who recently underwent surgery
  • Mothers who are experiencing pelvic floor problems

What's Involved?

Every week will be different. Exercises will be in the form of games, challenges, and fun movement. Each class will consist of a full-body workout that will target:

  • Cardiovascular Fitness
  • Muscular Strength and Endurance
  • Core Strength
  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Flexibility
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation

You will first be sent a comprehensive questionnaire – this will screen for any red flags, establish your goals and health habits, and ultimately determine whether this class is right for you.
