Perimenopause is a time of transition, where there is a hormonal shift - this hormonal shift can have certain effects on our body and mind:
* Feeling more tired than usual and lacking energy
* Having trouble sleeping, or waking up frequently
* Feeling confused or forgetful – ‘mind fog’
* Hot flashes
* Mood swings and irritability
* Gaining weight, especially around the middle
* Increased cravings for sugary, oily or processed foods
* Your usual exercise and nutrition is no longer working at keeping your weight stable

This is a 6-week block of classes that will address many areas of your health and wellbeing, i.e. it takes a whole-woman approach:

You will be fully supported – all questions will be answered, and you will be given access to a private facebook group for motivation and accountability and also to receive recipes, extra workouts, and more health & wellness tips

The Sessions

We will meet once a week and each session will involve the following:

  1. Mobilisations
  2. Metabolic Workout
  3. Releases, Body Alignment, Restorative Activity
  4. Time to Talk / Setting Weekly Challenges

Each workout is designed to:

  • Promote the production of human growth hormone (this is key!)
  • Raise your metabolism and burn fat
  • Improve cardiovascular health and fitness
  • Be pelvic floor safe (pelvic floor dysfunction increases in this period)
  • Promote bone health – osteoporosis is known as the ‘silent’ disease
  • Gain better functionality through movement that mimics everyday life activities
  • Make you feel good and more focused
  • Reduce stress
